The Story Behind the Creation of ADU Just for U
ADU Just for U was born from the union of extensive experience, traditions, and the successful collaboration of two thriving businesses—Farbex, founded by Gregory Wnorowski, and Palo Alto Home Improvements, owned by Gregory Ryczkowski.
Both founders have many years of expertise in constructing residential and commercial properties. Each company distinguished itself with a commitment to high-quality work, innovative approaches, and a deep understanding of clients’ needs.
Their collaboration began 16 years ago when both Gregorys realized their visions, work principles, and pursuit of excellence perfectly aligned. Their shared experience, built on trust and professionalism, became the foundation for a new ambitious project.
In 2024, ADU Just for U was established as a continuation of the legacy of Farbex and Palo Alto Home Improvements. The mission of this new company is to create comfortable and functional living spaces for clients, focusing on Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs).
Drawing on the extensive experience of both founders, ADU Just for U offers tailored solutions for each client, combining the best traditions of construction craftsmanship with modern technologies and sustainable standards.
This story of unity highlights the power of collaboration, which served as the cornerstone for a company capable of meeting the highest client expectations. ADU Just for U is not only about professionalism and quality but also about the profound connection between its founders and their shared history.

Meet our team
Gregory Wnorowski
Gregory brings over 20 years of sales and project management experience in the residential building trades. Gregory will work directly with homeowners to assist them through site verification, design specifications and contract processes.
Since childhood, Gregory has had a long-held passion for all things aviation. In addition to his private pilot license, he has a glider license, avionics license, and is an experienced parachute jumper.

Gregory Ryczkowski
Cofounder, Principal
Greg Ryczkowski leads the construction operations. He built his first business venture, a 2,000 sq. ft. wrestling sports club, at the age of 21. He had just finished at Civil Engineering Technical School and was continuing his education at the Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw, Poland. Due to the political situation in 1986, he was forced to leave Poland for the U.S. via Paris. He arrived in the U.S. with nothing and started as a Masonry contractor setting tile and stone while taking English and business classes in accounting, law, and taxation. Two years later, he bought his first house in Hayward and opened his stone fabrication business, Marble and Stone Works. He had numerous successes in selling two stone companies and a Polish restaurant. During this period, Greg moved to Palo Alto to buy his first rental property and to start his general contracting company. From 2004 to 2007, he worked as a Mortgage Broker at Bankers Preferred to better understand real estate financing. His goal has always been to educate himself to be a sophisticated real estate investor and builder to best serve his partners, clients and investors.
Peter Ryczkowski
Cofounder, Principal
Peter Ryczkowski has worked in construction since 1998. Starting out as a stone and tile installer. With job sites often not being ready, Peter took on more active roles including plumbing and cabinet installation. In 2002, due to demand, he added general contractor classification to the license. After over a decade of working sites, he now supervises and creates designs. Using the experience of being a laborer and knowledge of codes, he combines it with his design expertise he gained at AAU. Often creating drawings by hand and in CAD. He studied at San Jose State University and the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. He is currently getting a second degree in Civil Engineering.
Leszek Lyszczarz
Cofounder, Principal
Leszek is a meticulous project manager who started his career in the stone and tile industry for over 20 years. He is in charge of day to day job site operations to ensure the team passes the city and county inspections. He knows how to troubleshoot installation issues when they arise.
